| History Behind the Charm |

|One of Greenville’s most iconic images, the Liberty Bridge, sits in the heart of Falls Park downtown.  Designed by Miguel Rosales, the bridge is truly amazing; spanning 345ft, this concrete bridge is supported with just a single suspension cable and appears to be floating above the falls.

The Liberty Bridge was built as a replacement to the Camperdown Bridge, a 4 lane overpass that covered the falls completely. Once it was demolished in 2002, construction began for Liberty Bridge and it opened to the public in 2004 and offers the best view in downtown. |
